Registered Nurse – Med Surg

Annual Salary: Competitive with bonus program
Location: Dallas, TX
Job Type: Permanent, Full-time (12 HR Nights 19:00-07:00)

Join the facility as a Registered Nurse in our Medical Surgical Float Pool. This full-time night shift position is based in Dallas, TX, at a facility renowned for its comprehensive patient care and research. We are seeking dedicated RNs who are eager to advance their skills in a dynamic and supportive environment, providing critical care across various medical-surgical units.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Provide nursing care across multiple medical-surgical units, adapting to the needs of various patient populations.
  • Assess patients, plan personalized care, and evaluate responses to health issues, ensuring optimal outcomes.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Participate in continuous education and training to stay abreast of the latest medical-surgical nursing practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Must be a graduate from an accredited nursing program.
  • Must hold a current RN license.
  • Required certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS), with the expectation to obtain further certifications as needed.
  • At least 2 years of hands-on experience in an acute care hospital setting is highly preferred.
  • Strong clinical judgment and a commitment to delivering high-quality, compassionate care.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to changing patient conditions and unit needs.
  • The location of the candidate needs to be 30 mins or less for OR and any role with a call requirement.
